UFC 324 betting preview

Justin Gaethje, 37, is 26-5 over his career, but he's 1-2 in UFC title fights. The veteran fighter is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Rafael Fiziev at UFC 313 in March. Paddy Pimblett, 31, has a career 23-3 record, including 7-0 in UFC. This is his first UFC title opportunity, which comes after a third-round TKO victory over Michael Chandler in April at UFC 314. Gaethje is No. 4 in the lightweight class, with Pimblett ranked fifth heading into this interim championship fight. Ilia Topuria is the current lightweight champion, but he's currently stepping away from fighting due to legal battles. Saturday's winner will likely take on Topuria next.

The first UFC card on Paramount+ also features Sean O'Malley vs. Song Yadong in a bantamweight bout. O'Malley is ranked third in the division, with Yadong ranked fifth. Merab Dvalishvili is the current champion. O'Malley, who is 18-3 over his career, lost to Dvalishvil as the champion and then again in a rematch on June 7 at UFC 316. Yadong, 28, is 22-8-1 over his career and is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Henry Cejudo in February. 

In the main event, Pimblett is a -230 favorite, with Gaethje at +190 odds in the latest UFC 324 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook for UFC betting. In method of victory betting, Pimblett is +130 to win via submission, which three of his seven career UFC wins have come by. He's +350 to win by KO/TKO/DQ and +550 to win by decision. Gaethje is +400 to win by KO/TKO/DQ and +550 to win by decision. Before them, O'Malley is the -218 favorite, with Yadong at +180 odds. O'Malley is +100 to win by decision,
