Jaguars turn ball over on downs, Bills score after challenge

After rookie running back LeQuint Allen forced a fumble on Bills kick returner Ray Davis, the Jaguars got the ball at around the Buffalo 22-yard line.

After driving the ball further to Buffalo's 9-yard line, the Jaguars went for it on fourth-and-2, looking to capitalize on a stolen possession.

Initially, the ruling on the field was that Lawrence gained enough for the first down, but upon review, it was overturned, giving the ball back to Buffalo. At the time, Jacksonville led the Bills 7-3 with about 11 minutes remaining in the first half.

The Jaguars have turned the ball over twice in the first half, including turning the ball over on downs and quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw an interception to Shaq Thompson during the first quarter.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen ran the ball two yards into the end zone to give Buffalo a 10-7 lead with 5:37 remaining. Allen was banged up on the play.
