The big news is Lisandro Martinez returns to the XI at centre-back, in place of the suspended Harry Maguire.

The Argentina international has not featured since the 1-1 draw at West Ham United in February.

There are three other changes - Noussair Mazraoui is in for Diogo Dalot, Manuel Ugarte replaces Kobbie Mainoo, who is not in the squad after suffering a small issue in training, and Benjamin Sesko gets a start in attack. Bryan Mbeumo makes way for the Slovenia striker.

Shea Lacey is back among the substitutes for the first time since the 3-2 win over Fulham.

Why Doesn’t Anybody Realize We’re Going Back to the Moon?

The most momentous launch since the Apollo era was about to begin, and along Florida’s space coast, a secondhand exhilaration was working its way through the assembled crowd, as though all of us, and not just the astronauts, would soon ride out of Earth’s gravity well on a pillar of fire. The space faithful had started arriving at the A. Max Brewer Bridge in Titusville before dawn, under the light of a full, yellow moon. They had set up their folding chairs and tripods at the high point of the bridge, to get the best line of sight, and stayed fixed in place during a brief rain, and again later, when a concerning wind blew across the lagoon.

On the launchpad, the rocket stood more than 30 stories high, illuminated by banks of stadium lights. As the day wore on, a tailgate atmosphere took hold in the park at the foot of the bridge. For miles, cars had pulled onto nearly every available stretch of grass. Families spread out on picnic blankets, and college-aged kids wheeled out coolers. They threw footballs and baseballs back and forth and drank beer.

Israel bars church leaders from Palm Sunday mass ‘for the first time in centuries,’ church says

For the first time in centuries, Catholic leaders have been barred from Jerusalem’s Church of Holy Sepulchre on Palm Sunday, according to church authorities in the holy city.

The Latin Patriarchate in Jerusalem said Israeli police prevented the church’s senior leaders from entering to celebrate mass.

“For the first time in centuries, the Heads of the Church were prevented from celebrating the Palm Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre,” the Patriarchate said in a statement on Sunday. “This incident is a grave precedent and disregards the sensibilities of billions of people around the world who, during this week, look to Jerusalem.”

Arizona beats Purdue to make first Final Four since 2001

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- For the first time since 2001, Arizona is headed to the Final Four.

The top-seeded Wildcats punched their ticket with a 79-64 win against No. 2 Purdue, setting the school record for wins in a season (36) in the process. The previous wins record had stood since 1988, when Arizona reached the first of its four Final Fours -- including the national title in 1997 -- under legendary coach Lute Olson.

Shortly after the game ended, Arizona coach Tommy Lloyd held a microphone and spoke to the jubilant, heavily pro-Wildcats crowd at the SAP Center.

"I know this," he said. "There's a good-looking guy with white hair looking down on us right now that's happy."

The reference to Olson, who died in 2020, brought even more cheers from Arizona fans.

Couch: 3 quick takes on Michigan State basketball's 77-69 NCAA tournament win over Louisville

BUFFALO, N.Y. — I don’t know if Michigan State is good enough to conquer what’s ahead next week. But the Spartans played like a team Saturday determined to make a go of it.

If MSU shoots like that, if Coen Carr plays like that, if Jeremy Fears continues to break assist records like that — this time the MSU NCAA tournament assist mark held previously by some guy named Magic — and if MSU defends like that, they’ll have a chance.

All of it was too much for 6-seed Louisville on Saturday in the second round of the NCAA tournament. After taking the lead early, MSU led wire to wire, but never comfortably, in a 77-69 win that sends the Spartans to the Sweet 16 for the third time in four years, “where this program belongs,” as Tom Izzo said afterward.

Tallest college basketball player ever towers over 6-foot-8 opponent in viral March Madness moment

Florida’s Olivier Rioux entered the game late in the team’s dominant 114-55 win over No. 16 Prairie View A&M at Benchmark International Arena, and, at 7-foot-9, he floored his opponents with his height.

Prairie View A&M forward Hassane Diallo, who stands at 6-foot-8, a full foot shorter than Rioux, went viral for sizing up the towering 20-year-old as he entered the game. Rioux was the world’s tallest teenager before his birthday last month.

Rioux has played sparingly throughout the year as he continues to develop but has become a fan favorite in short order. Whenever the Gators are up big late in games, the Florida crowd chants Rioux’s name at head coach Todd Golden, hoping to see the tall center in action.

Oweh's buzzer-beater saves Kentucky in OT win over Santa Clara

ST. LOUIS -- Otega Oweh rescued Kentucky with a buzzer-beater from just inside half court to force overtime, then hit the tiebreaking free throws in the extra period as the seventh-seeded Wildcats beat No. 10 seed Santa Clara 89-84 on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

In an electrifying finish to regulation that defines the words "March Madness," Santa Clara's Allen Graves drained a 3 from the right wing with 2.4 seconds left to put the Broncos ahead 73-70. Oweh received the inbound pass, pushed the ball up the court and pulled up to the left of the midcourt logo to launch his desperation heave. The ball was midair when the buzzer sounded, and it banked in for the tie.

Oweh scored a career-high 35 points and had eight rebounds and seven assists for the Wildcats (22-13), who will face either No. 2 seed Iowa State or 15th-seeded Tennessee State in the second round in the Midwest Region.

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- After nearly three weeks on the sideline with a foot injury, Duke big man Patrick Ngongba II could be back in the lineup for the Blue Devils' second-round game against TCU on Saturday.

Duke coach Jon Scheyer said he's "hopeful" Ngongba will play, although he said the sophomore still had some hurdles to clear during Friday's practice and overnight recovery.

"He needs to practice," Scheyer said. "He needs to just be on the floor and move the way that he needs to be successful. He's been ramping up and doing a really good job. We just want to make sure he's feeling right to play at a high level -- not just to be out there, but to be him."

'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' cast raised Taylor Frankie Paul concerns at meeting with ABC executives

concerns over the future of their careers, the show’s brand and the allegations surrounding Paul and Mortensen. They also brought up alleged abuse involving Paul, who has three children, one who she shares with Mortensen.

In 2023, Paul was charged with assault, criminal mischief and domestic violence in the presence of a child, according to Salt Lake County sheriff’s records. The arrest stemmed from allegations of a separate domestic violence dispute with Mortensen in 2023, which was part of the storyline in season 1 of "Mormon Wives." Court records indicate that Paul pleaded guilty in abeyance to an aggravated assault charge in August 2025, and the other four charges were dismissed with prejudice.

One cast member said they did not feel comfortable filming as long as Paul is being investigated.

"It’s a dangerous situation, it’s a sad situation, and we don’t know how to navigate it, because Taylor is our friend," the cast member said to ABC brass at the virtual meeting.

According to a source with knowledge of the situation, "the purpose of the March 7 zoom was to tell 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' cast that we care about their safety, and they should not feel pressured to do press or film the show."

Manchester City will attempt to overturn a 3-0 deficit in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie against Real Madrid, and you can follow the updates live on ESPN.

Madrid captain Federico Valverde flayed City in the first leg with a sumptuous hat trick at the Bernabéu to leave Pep Guardiola's side on the brink of an early exit.

Madrid have knocked City out in each of their last two meetings. Will they make it a hat trick tonight or will City mount a miracle?

Anthony Edwards scores 42 as Timberwolves escape Warriors before Thunder clash

SAN FRANCISCO — This wasn’t supposed to be a meaningful test for these mysterious Minnesota Timberwolves.

Heck, this Friday night affair against an emaciated Golden State squad without Steph Curry (knee), Jimmy Butler (season-ending ACL tear) and Draymond Green (late scratch with back issues) didn’t even qualify as a pop quiz for this split-personality team that returned to its inconsistent ways of late. Jekyll or Hyde should have been able to do this deed — with ease.

Yet, there they were midway through the fourth quarter, with the lead that was once as large as 25 points down to eight, inviting danger into this week that was already dicey enough as it was. As if the one-sided losses to Orlando (119-92), the Lakers (120-106) and the Clippers (153-128) weren’t bad enough — this coming after an impressive stretch in which they’d won eight of nine games — this confounding choice to play with their food against the B-Team Warriors meant that Anthony Edwards would need to stay on the floor until the end.

With Middle East in flames, Texan bunker maker sees business boom

Since the war in the Middle East began nearly two weeks ago, the phone at Ron Hubbard's bomb shelter company in Texas hasn't stopped ringing.

Foreign and US clients are rushing to buy his bunkers, seeking refuge in case of air raids, nuclear fallout or apocalypse.

With the United States and Israel pounding Iran, and Tehran retaliating with strikes across the region, Hubbard has seen demand for his product soar, mostly from Gulf nation clients in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.

"You can imagine how many people are thinking 'I wish I had a bomb shelter,'" Hubbard, 63, told AFP in the office of his company, Atlas Survival Shelters. "The respect and the demand for the product is really at an all-time high right now like I've never seen it before."

But with Iranian missiles hitting US targets in the Middle East and violence on the rise domestically, Americans are also worried. One recent morning, a client from Florida called Hubbard to inquire about a bomb shelter for 10 people.

- How It Works

A basic backyard bunker housing four people underground for up to a week while shielding them from bomb blasts and radiation costs around $25,000.

Virginia tops NC State to earn spot in ACC Tournament semifinals

CHARLOTTE — After two regular-season losses to Virginia, NC State coach Will Wade was looking for a much better effort against the Cavaliers on Thursday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament.

His Wolfpack definitely delivered a better game.

But it still wasn’t enough to upset the second-seeded Cavaliers, who held off NC State 81-74 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte. Virginia advances to play the winner of Louisville-Miami in Friday’s semifinals.

Trailing 78-74 in the final 25 seconds, Virginia’s Ugonna Onyenso blocked a lay-up attempt by Ven-Allen Lubin, and Matt Able missed a putback attempt. Virginia had nine blocked shots, eight by Onyenso, contributing to NC State’s poor shooting performance.

NC State shot a season-best 60.8% from the field in Wednesday’s victory against Pittsburgh, but Virginia held the ‘Pack to 32.3% shooting.

Paul McNeil led NC State with a game-high 26 points, including six made 3-pointers. Lubin had 14 points and 10 rebounds for NC State (20-13), which awaits its NCAA Tournament fate.

The game was tight through the first half and into the second. NC State’s last lead came at 40-39 with 17:42 left in the second half, but Virginia used a 9-0 spurt later in the half to take control.

Virginia starting center Johann Grunloh, a 7-foot freshman, picked up two fouls in the first four minutes of the first half and another in the first 24 seconds of the second half. He finished with four points in 10 minutes.

But Onyenso, another 7-footer, controlled the paint with eight points and six rebounds to go along with his eight blocks in 30 minutes.

Miami (Ohio) dealt 1st loss of season by UMass in MAC tourney

CLEVELAND -- No. 20 Miami (Ohio) suffered its first defeat with a shocking 87-83 loss to UMass in its first game of the Mid-American Conference tournament Thursday, spoiling the last perfect record in Division I men's basketball.

Daniel Hankins-Sanford made a tiebreaking layup with 29 seconds remaining, and the Minutemen escaped with a victory in a quarterfinal game that had 12 lead changes and 10 ties.

The RedHawks (31-1) were the fifth men's Division I program this century to go undefeated during the regular season. Now, it's the second to get tripped up in its conference tournament. St. Joseph's lost to Xavier in the 2004 Atlantic 10 quarterfinals but was still a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Miami was the first squad since Gonzaga in 2020-21 to not have a loss going into a conference tournament.

Jim Boeheim defended Adrian Autry as "a good coach," saying his dismissal from Syracuse was a result of poor performance by the Orange's best players and lack of NIL funding for the program.

Syracuse fired Autry on Wednesday, ending the former Orange player's three-year tenure as Boeheim's coaching successor. The Orange went 15-17 this season and failed to reach the NCAA tournament under Autry.

Jo Malone sued for using her own name in collaboration with Zara

British perfumier Jo Malone is being sued by Estée Lauder Companies for using her name in a collaboration with High Street retailer Zara.

The US cosmetics giant bought Malone's eponymous perfume brand, Jo Malone London, including the rights to her name, in 1999.

Though the Zara collaboration was with Malone's new brand Jo Loves, Estée Lauder Companies took issue with the use of Malone's name on the packaging, which read: "A creation by Jo Malone CBE, founder of Jo Loves".

The group is suing Jo Malone herself, Jo Loves and Zara's UK arm for trademark infringement and breach of contract.Jo Malone for a response. Zara UK declined to comment.

The Zara and Jo Loves collaboration started in 2019.

Malone has previously said she regretted selling the rights to use her own name for commercial purposes.

Under the terms of the 1999 deal, Malone had agreed not to use the "Jo Malone" name for commercial uses, including marketing fragrances.

As first reported by the FT, Estée Lauder Companies is also taking legal action regarding passing off, which is when customers are misled into thinking a product is from another company.

Jo Malone's fragrance business was founded in the early 1990s, and became popular for unique fragrances using British nature and blossoms as inspiration for its ingredients. The brand expanded to include scented candles and bath products.

A spokesperson for Estée Lauder Companies said when Malone sold the brand, "she agreed to clear contractual terms that included refraining from using the Jo Malone name in certain commercial contexts, including the marketing of fragrances.

PGA Tour shares Collin Morikawa’s ‘worst thing in the world’ reaction to Players withdrawal

The Players Championship got an early start Thursday at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

A loaded field that includes world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and No. 2 Rory McIlroy promises an exciting weekend at a tournament often referred to as golf’s unofficial “fifth major.” Scheffler and McIlroy have combined to win four of the past six titles at The Players.

But with Scheffler struggling lately and McIlroy battling a sore back, world No. 4 Collin Morikawa entered the tournament as one of the favorites. A Golf Channel article placed him as the No. 2 favorite behind Si Woo Kim.

Unfortunately, Morikawa’s bid for a first Players title ended before it really got underway. The two-time major champion withdrew with a back injury of his own after completing just one hole.

The PGA Tour’s official X account shared Morikawa’s reaction. “Trust me, I would play if I could,” he said. “It’s just the worst thing in the world.

Real Madrid in awe of one of 'best on planet' Federico Valverde

Trent Alexander-Arnold called Federico Valverde "the most underrated footballer on the planet" and coach Álvaro Arbeloa called him "a benchmark" after the midfielder's hat trick in Real Madrid's 3-0 win over Manchester City on Wednesday.

Valverde's 22-minute hat trick at the Bernabéu was enough to give Madrid the advantage going into next week's round-of-16 second leg in Manchester, though Vinícius Júnior had a second-half penalty saved by Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Uruguay international is the first midfielder to score a hat trick for Madrid in the Champions League, doubling his career tally in the competition in the process.

"I think he's the most underrated footballer on the planet and has been for years," teammate Alexander-Arnold told CBS. "Even when I wasn't here, I admired his game so much. There's no flaw in it, there's nothing he can't do.

"The energy and what he brings to the team is absolutely immense. He never moans, he pushes himself to the limit, game in game out. It's an incredible trait to have. Whether people agree or not, he's definitely in the top tier of midfielders on the planet and has been for years."

Arbeloa has restored Valverde to the midfield, after he had been played at right back by predecessor Xabi Alonso.

Federico Valverde hat-trick leads Real Madrid past Manchester City in Champions League: Live updates and reaction

Real Madrid hat-trick hero Federico Valverde spoke to Movistar+ on Spanish TV after the match and called it the best game of his career.

💬 “Yes, for sure. Above all in goals. I really enjoy scoring goals, it’s a long time since I’ve had a game like this. So I’m really happy, but above all for the result for the team. It’s an incredible feeling.

“You dream about nights like this. I thank my teammates who gave me the confidence to be in good spirits. Thanks to the coach, the fans, who are always supporting me, even though it has been a difficult season.

“The coach always asks me to join the attack. Today we had more players who hold the ball in midfield, so I could attack a lot more. And my teammates gave me incredible passes

His positional error led to the only goal of the FA Cup final last season as Manchester City lost 1-0 against Crystal Palace.

And though the 20-year-old is a fine prospect, he did not get close enough to Valverde for the first two goals, and to Vinicius Junior in the build-up to the penalty either.

Another Tottenham agent of chaos

If any single moment sums up Igor Tudor’s thus far short but ignominious reign as Tottenham’s interim head coach, it was the sight of the Croatian pointing to his temples as he urged his players to maintain their composure against Atlético Madrid in Madrid on Tuesday. Composure? What composure? Spurs were 3-0 down after 17 minutes and the players in question were watching their goalkeeper trudge disconsolately from the pitch after suffering the public humiliation of being replaced for being rubbish. Studiously ignored by his manager, the crestfallen 22-year-old was followed down the tunnel by a trio of more senior players eager to console their mate. Only Tudor knows why João Palhinha, Conor Gallagher and Dom Solanke weren’t making themselves useful out on the pitch but his decision to leave all three seasoned professionals on the bench for a Bigger Cup tie that always had the potential to become the stuff of nightmares is just one of many inexplicable calls the Croatian has made since replacing Thomas Frank.

Billed far and wide across the media as “a fire-fighter” upon his arrival, Tudor has proved quite the opposite, taking no time at all to torch his own reputation as a coach and leader, along with whatever sort of positive relationship he might have fostered with Tottenham’s players and fans. Rather than extinguish the bin-fire that is Spurs’ season, this agent of chaos has doused it with gallons of petrol, masterminding four defeats in a row while reducing an already maligned rabble of highly paid professionals to the status of international laughing stock. And while that’s all well and good for neutrals who enjoy a spot of rubbernecking, his ice-cold treatment of Antonin Kinsky seemed a step too far. Whether it was those baffled by Tudor’s decision to throw an inexperienced goalkeeper into the Wanda bearpit for his first start since
